After soaking your finger nails massage or rub your hands to moisturize your nails and cuticles. And it also help the blood circulation going.

When the cuticles are soft, gently push them back with the cuticle pusher. And be sure to cut your finger nails straight across to avoid your skin hit by the nail cutter. To avoid the split and ragged nails, position the flat side of your board perpendicular to the edge of your nails and file in one direction.
